The International AIDS Society and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation held a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, February 29, 2008, focusing on the state of global advocacy for the HIV prevention needs of gay men and men who have sex with men (MSM). Twenty-eight invited leaders participated in a full-day discussion that included an analysis of the current landscape of global MSM-HIV advocacy, reviewed priorities for research and resource allocation, and explored opportunities for leadership and collaboration.
