Teleconference presentations

This section includes presentation slides and minutes from regular teleconferences. IRMA, with the generosity of its organizational partners, hosts regular, free international teleconferences featuring speakers from around the world who are leading rectal microbicides research and advocacy efforts. All calls include a set of slides which participants can follow online. Minutes of the call are posted here as well.

Community Presentations

IRMA members regularly present on rectal microbicide advocacy and research in their communities and at local, national and international conferences. These presentations are available for you to learn from and to use as examples and adaptable templates.

IRMA Materials

IRMA has produced a number of reports and other materials which can be found here. Included is "Rectal Microbicides: Investments and Advocacy" released in 2006 at the Microbicides 2006 conference in Cape Town, South Africa. IRMA's new report, "Less Silence, More Science - Advocacy to Make Rectal Microbicides a Reality" is now available. Also, check out general membership information in this section.

"What's up with Candidate Microbicide X?"

To find out, it's as simple as 1, 2, 3, 4 !

Information on the status of candidate microbicides is always available for public access in the Alliance for Microbicide Development Microbicide R&D Database (MRDD). To access information on current microbicide candidates, please follow the steps below:

1. At the Alliance homepage, click on the blue tab, entitled “Microbicide R&D Database,” and on that page click on the hyperlink of the word “here,” available immediately under “View database.” This will take you to a separate webpage, specifically for the MRDD.

2. On the taskbar on the top, roll your mouse over the down arrow to the right of ‘Candidate Products,’ and click on ‘Candidate Product Search.’

3. Either search for a specific product, or click on ‘View All Candidate Products.’

4. After selecting a product to view, information on the product profile, clinical trial status, and relevant publications are accessible.
